Smart Extra ordinary life. with the technology age. life makes fast and easier especially in communication, not like before you need to meet your friends to have some talk. or send letter using a postal Office just to reach the person in different places. as mobile phone come in, everything change differently. by just dialling the number or sending a text messages the deal is done.

Simplified Mechanics:


1.Promo is open to all SMART Subscribers.

2.To join, participants must submit a story about how a SMART service, technology, or innovation made an extraordinary moment in their lives possible.

3.Stories may be submitted as:

a.A 3-5 minute video.

b.A written entry 200 to 500 words long.

4.Entries can be submitted on the SMART website, at select SMART Store outlets and partner radio stations.

5.The best story as determined by a panel of judges wins P100,000 and will be featured as the next SMART TV ad.

6.Participants may enter multiple times but may only win once.

7.A special "People's Choice Award" with a cash prize of P10,000 will be given to the participant who gather's the highest number of "Likes" on the website.

8.There will be a weekly raffle with five winners each of P300 load for participants who submit online from May 8 to June 30, 2011.

9.Deadline for submissions is midnight of June 30, 2011.

Life Made Extraordinary Mechanics:

1.This contest is open to all Smart subscribers from May 8 - June 30, 2011.

2.Participants must send their personal story on how Smart's technology/innovation has changed their lives.

3.Stories may be submitted in any format, through the following channels:

a.www.smart.com.ph/extraordinary in either video or text format . There will be a standard registration form where users will fill in their name, address, email and Smart mobile number.

b.Participating radio stations -Participants should enclose their entries in an envelope with their full name, complete address, mobile number and signature and the Title of the Promo and dropped at the ff radio stations:

c.Smart Stores — Store visitors may use the specially-designated laptop to send in their entries through the microsite and will be located at the ff Smart Stores:

•SM Davao

4.Users may submit as many stories as they wish, provided they are all different.

5.Video submission is via YouTube link. Video to be uploaded in YouTube then link to be entered in the Video Submission Form of the website. Video must be 3-5 minutes long only, up to 2GB in file size and in any of the following file formats: mp4, mpg, mov, avi.

6.All text story submissions must consist of at least 200 words to qualify.

7.All submissions will be reviewed before posting. Any story that contains lewd, obscene, pornographic or offensive material will be rejected. Likewise, anything that is derogatory to the brand Smart, its image, logo and reputation, will also be rejected.

8.Acceptable entries from all channels will be posted on the microsite. All approved entries submitted via Smart Stores or Radio Stations will be forwarded to Tribal DDB for encoding and uploading on the Entries Gallery on the Promo Microsite.

9.There will be a panel of judges made up of the following Smart employees:

a.Carla Yap-Sy Su - Brand Equity Management, Project Owner-Corporate Thematic Campaign

b.Rezza Custodio — Social Media Manager

c.AD Hunter - Brand Equity Management

10.Featured stories will be judged based on the following criteria:

a.Relevance to Theme (Does it have anything to do with Smart innovation?) - 40%

b.Creativity (How the story is told) - 20%

c.Originality (How unique is the experience) - 40%

*For each criterion, judges give their rating from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.

11.Participants to the promo may only win once.

12.Deadline for submission of entries is on June 30, 2011 at 12 midnight.

13.All submitted entries will be judged by the panel of judges on July 8, 2011 at 1pm at the Smart Communications, Inc. office located at Ayala Avenue, Makati City. Judging will be done in the presence of DTI Representative.

14.At the end of the submission period, the3 highest rating based on the weighted average of the judges' combined score sheets will win the following prizes:

a.P100,000 cash — 1st prize

b.P30,000 cash — 2nd prize

c.P20,000 cash — 3rd prize

15.In case of tie, judges will re-cast their votes.

16.From July 1 — July 15, 2011, people can vote for their favourite entries among all those posted on the microsite. Registered users simply login to vote. Those not yet registered are required to do so. In the registration page, user must fill in the required fields with their name, address, email address and Smart mobile number. Only registered voters may cast their votes. After registration, voters then go to the Stories and Videos Gallery where each entry posted will have a "Like" option. Users simply click on the "LIKE" button to vote a particular entry. The number of likes per posted video/entry is displayed. Users may only vote once.

17.At the end of the voting period, SMART representative under the supervision of DTI Representative will determine the highest vote-getter to win P10,000 cash as the "People's Choice" winner on July 20, 2011 at 10:00am at the Smart Communications, Inc. office located in Ayala Ave., Makati City.

18.Deadline of voting is on July 15 at 12 midnight

19.Incentive Program:

a.All online submissions from May 8 — June 30, 2011will earn one (1) raffle entry for a chance to win one of 5 weekly prizes of P300 Load.

b.One submission is equivalent to one (1) raffle entry.

c.Draw dates are as follows: May 16, 2011 (entries from May 9-15), May 23 (entries from May 16-22), May 30 (entries from May 23-29) June 5 (entries from May 30 — June 5) June 13 (entries from June 6 -12) June 20, (entries from June 13 -19) June 30, (entries from June 20 -30).

d.All draws will be held at the Tribal DDB office at Two World Square, McKinley Hill, Taguig in the presence of SMART RE PRESENTATIVE under the supervision of DTI Rep.

e.Participants may only win once for the entire promo period.

f.Non winning Entries from previous draw/s will no longer qualify on the succeeding draws.

g.Load prize will be credited to the winners' mobile number within 48 hours from winning via e-Load through third party prepaid loading system load.com.ph. An SMS notification will be sent to the winner.

h.Post paid winners may assign the load prize to a prepaid subscriber of their choice. All post paid winners will receive a call via 7777 for instructions on load assignment.

General Requirements


1.Winner of the promo will receive a call from an authorized Smart representative via SMART's special access number 7777 and will also be notified via registered mail in order to be advised to claim their prizes.

2.The winner has sixty (60) days from day of winning to claim his/her prize. If not claimed within the given period, the prize shall be forfeited in favor of the sponsor with prior DTI approval.

3.Both Metro Manila and provincial winners may claim their prize at the nearest Smart Wireless Center as identified in the registered mail.

4.To claim his/her prize, the winner must present 2 valid IDs (Philippine passport, driver's license, company ID with picture, etc.), within 60 days from receipt of the notification through registered mail.

5.20% tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00 shall be shouldered by SMART.

6.SMART employees, advertising agencies and their relatives up to 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion

7.Smart reserves the right to use any of the submitted entries in part or in full, for their new TVCs which will start airing in August.


Control Measures: Raffle


a.A DTI Representative shall be invited to check the computer system for recording transaction during the promo period, generation of entries, assigning random computer generated raffle numbers and drawing of winners. A copy in a cd shall be sealed in an envelope signed by the DTI Representative for safekeeping of Smart Buddy accounts and for verification of DTI anytime

b.A list of the properties of the computer program shall be printed and given to the DTI representative after verification.

c.During the verification, the DTI Representative shall also check the fields in the database/list of participants, name, email address, mailing address, mobile number and number of raffle entries.

d.Another DTI Representative will be invited to be present during the actual generation of entries and raffle winners.

e.Raffle numbers will be assigned at random to all qualified participants in the presence of the DTI Representative before drawing of winners. A copy in a cd shall be sealed in an envelope signed by the DTI Representative for safekeeping of SMART Buddy accounts and for verification of DTI anytime.

f.The Smart Communication representative shall randomly draw an entry from the system that contains all the entries.

g.The first and the last number shall be shown on screen before drawing of winners.

h.A winner shall be drawn one at a time using the raffle numbers assigned at random.

i.After the winner is drawn, it will be verified from the generated list by the Smart Communications Representative and the DTI Representative.

j.A list of the properties of the computer program shall be printed and given to the DTI Representative after each draw.


Control Measures: Voting


a.A DTI Representative shall be invited to check the computer system for recording registration details during the promo period and tracking of "Likes", A copy in a cd shall be sealed in an envelope signed by the DTI Representative for safekeeping of Smart Buddy accounts and for verification of DTI anytime.

b.A list of the properties of the computer program shall be printed and given to the DTI representative after verification.

c.The Application will be developed to track the number of Likes per entry and the number of votes per user (only 1 per user is allowed).

d.During the verification, the DTI Representative shall also check the fields in the database/list of participants, name, address, mobile number.

e.The system is password-protected and only the moderator (Vinnie Lazaro) and the Super Admin (Arne Reodique) have access to it.

f.The website uses the following technology:

•PSP, MySQL Database, Flash

•To submit an entry and to vote, you must be a registered user

g.Access Levels

•Moderator — to check qualifications of submissions

•Super Admin — for system maintenance and monitoring
