Askals win vs blue wolves of Mongolia for a 3-2 Aggregate score. Philippine Azkals denied Mongolia to make a any goals in the second half March 15, 2011 in the 2nd leg of their AFC Challenge Cup pre-qualifying match in freezing Ulan Bator. Azkals will go up next against Myanmar on March 21.
At the end the Azkals trailed Mongolia's Blue Wolves 1-2 in the 2nd leg of their 2012 AFC Challenge Cup pre-qualifying match in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.
Despite losing to Mongolia, 1-2, in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, the Philippine Azkals still made it through the qualifying round of the 2011 Asian Football Confederation (AFP) Challenge Cup after an aggregate score of 3-2.
Despite the freezing temperature, the Azkals - came out smoking as James Younghusband scored at the three-minute mark but the Blue Wolves equalized right back with a goal from Donorov Lumbengarav at the 22nd minute.
The Blue Wolves drew their 2nd goal at the 33rd minute when keeper Ed Sacapaño blocked a free kick but Mongolia's Bayasgalan scored on the follow-up.
I though Azkals will go home crying but they did a good job.
