As i watched the news last night and watching those police and SWAT team in the hostage process i think they need more training for that kind of scenario
actually it wont really happen if the negotiators or someone in higher rank act fast. there has a lot of casualties especially when police arrest the brother
of the hostage taker (dismissed Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza) in which Mendoza sees what the police did to his brother so that is the time he try to be violent
with his hostages. that is one of the big mistake of the Police. I think they are just train to kill and not to negotiate.

He even warned snipers in the area he would not hesitate to “execute" hostages if authorities won’t heed to his demands.
