Human desire
Human desire is illimitable and without end.
It makes you pursue the mirage in the desert;
it makes you build castles in the air;
it breeds discontent and despair, once you succumb to it.

Beauty is God's handwriting - nice quote
fear and fearlessness
The old religions said that he was an atheist who did not believe in GOD.......
The new religion says that he is the atheist who does not believe in HIMSELF....
Be not afraid of anything. You will do marvellous work .
The moment you fear, you are nobody.
It is fear that is the great cause of misery in the world.
It is fear that is the cause of all our woes ,
And it is fearlessness that brings heaven even in a moment......

Life and struggle
A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he could watch the moth come out of the cocoon. On the day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the moth for several hours as the moth struggled to force the body through that little hole.
The moth seemed to be stuck and appeared to have stopped making progress. It seemed as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther. The man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth; so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The moth then emerged easily. But its body was swollen and small, its wings wrinkled and shriveled. The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to and able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling around with a small, swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. The man in his kindness and haste did not understand that the struggle required for the moth to get through the tiny opening was necessary to force fluid from the body of the moth into its wings so that it would be ready for flight upon achieving its freedom from the cocoon. Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle. By depriving the moth of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life.
If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been.
Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets, and don't forget the power in the struggle.

An idle mind is devil's workshop
NEver sit idle when some fear arises in your heart. If you sit idle, you will start brooding over it.
That will only enhance the fear in your heart. The popular proverb - " An idle mind is devil's workshop" has great truth in it.
This proverb actually explains the state of our own mind!
So, when fear arises in you heart, don't sit idle. Get up at once and do one of the following...
1. Start reading words of strength and hope.
2. Take up some constructive and creative activity.
3. Go to some dependable elders you know and spend some time in their elevating presence.
4. Take deep breaths rhythmically and do some methodical exercises.
5. Pray intensely to GOD in whichever form you like.
If you want to achieve success in overcoming fear, there are certain rotten personal habits you must avoid at all costs...
1. Wandering about doing nothing
2. Losing yourself in idle gossip
3. Brooding over your weaknesses.
4. Postponing your duties.
5.Lingering in an undecided state of mind.
All of these exhaust the brain, weaken the mind, and drain all your energies, leaving the inner core of your personality greatly damaged.

So easy to beat yourself up over mistakes
So easy to beat yourself up over mistakes you've made. So many amongst us live in the past rather than loving the present and building a brilliant future. Some people stay stuck for years over something they did or a failure they've experienced. Sad. A life is a terrible thing to waste.
But let me ask you a question: "is there really such a thing as a mistake?" First of all, no one tries to fail or mess things up. Every one of us wakes up in the morning, walks out into the world and does the best we can do based on what we know and the skills we have. But even more importantly, every so-called "mistake' is actually a rich source of learning. An opportunity to build more awareness and understanding and gain precious experience. Experience that will help us do, feel and be even better. So, just maybe, there are no mistakes. Just maybe what we could call failures are actually growth lessons in wolf's clothing. And just maybe the person who experiences the most wins.

Tim Berners Lee technological quotes collection
Some of the great technological quotes from the inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee
The Google algorithm was a significant development. I've had thank-you emails from people whose lives have been saved by information on a medical website or who have found the love of their life on a dating website.
The important thing is the diversity available on the Web.
I basically wrote the code and the specs and documentation for how the client and server talked to each other.
Any good software engineer will tell you that a compiler and an interpreter are interchangeable.
The Mobile Web Initiative is important - information must be made seamlessly available on any device.
Data is a precious thing and will last longer than the systems themselves.
You affect the world by what you browse.
Whatever the device you use for getting your information out, it should be the same information.
Everybody who runs a Web site knows we're not assured of compatibility, and we could end up with a split.
Web pages are designed for people. For the Semantic Web, we need to look at existing databases.
Most larger companies now see that for the market to grow, Web infrastructure must be royalty-free.
That idea of URL was the basic clue to the universality of the Web. That was the only thing I insisted upon.
We shouldn't build a technology to colour, or grey out, what people say. The media in general is balanced, although there are a lot of issues to be addressed that the media rightly pick up on.

Kundaini - Breathing Therapy
The nose has a left and a right side; we use both to inhale and exhale.
Actually they are different; you would be able to feel the difference.
The right side represents the sun, left side represents the moon.
During a headache, try to close your right nose and use your left nose to breathe.
In about 5 mins, your headache will be gone? If you feel tired, just reverse, close your left nose and breathe through your right nose.
After a while, you will feel your mind is refreshed.
Right side belongs to 'hot', so it gets heated up easily, left side belongs to 'cold'.
Most females breathe with their left noses, so they get "cooled off" faster.
Most of the guys breathe with their right noses, they get worked up.
Do you notice the moment we wake up, which side breathes faster? Left or right? ?
If left is faster, you will feel tired.
So, close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing, you will get refreshed quickly.
This can be taught to kids, but it is more effective when practised by adults.
This alternative natural therapy without medication is something that he has experienced.

A rich man meets Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa
A rich man went to Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and said:
"I've heard that Godess Maha Kali herself comes to meet you." Shri Ramakrishna: "Yes, that is true."
"When does she come?" "That is not fixed.
Is there a particular time when the God & the saints pay a visit? They come at their own goodwill."
"I want that you should help me a little. Whenever the Godess Maha Kali comes at your place next time do send her to my house also."
This person appeared very clever to Shri Ramakrishna therefore He said:
"That's OK! But you give me your address."
The richman wrote his address on a piece of paper & gave it to Shri Ramakrishna.
Then Shri Ramakrishna said: "Is this your address?" "Yes Sir! This is definitely my address."
"No, this is the address of your body. I can send the Mother (Godess) only if you give me your address."
"My address! The rich person was bewildered." Shri Ramakrishna smiling said:
"How can a person invite the Mother (Godess) without knowing his own address?" The rich person stepped back silently & went away.

The Cracked Pot
There was a farmer who owned two pots which he used to fill with water every evening from the river side and bring back home for daily usage. However, one of the pots was slighty cracked due to which by the time the farmer used to reach home, half of the pot got emptied.
The pot always felt ashamed for its shortcoming and regretted why the farmer had not thrown him away. One fine day, the pot managed to ask whether the farmer has ever noticed that it is cracked and half of the water and his valuable energy gets wasted everyday.
The farmer took the pot on the way to riverside and told the pot-- see the flowerbed , i knew that you are cracked so I had sown the seeds which have turned into beautiful flowers because of the watering done by you.

The Beatles quotes collection - love and music
To every word of love I heard you whisper, the raindrops seem to play a sweet refrain
I'm happy with my lifestyle, ... I don't have time to reflect on [it].
The love you take is equal to the love you make
For I don't care too much for money,
For money can't buy me love.
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
Yesterday our troubles seemed so far away, I believe in yesterday.
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
Life goes on within you and without you
Please don't wake me, no don't shake me, leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping.
I'll buy you a diamond ring, my friend If it makes you feel alright
