When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares. - Henri Nouwen

The bird a nest, the spider a web, man friendship. - William Blake

The tender friendships one gives up, on parting, leave their bite on the heart, but also a curious feeling of a treasure somewhere buried. - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Southern Mail, 1929, translated from French by Curtis Cate

The Right Girl Or Guy For You

You are dating a new guy and he seems to be perfect for you. But how do you know if he is Mr. Right? You are falling in love and you are hoping that he is finally the right guy. So, how do you really know that you are dating Mr. Right? Are there signs that he is Mr. Right?

Your instincts can be your best friend. The moment you meet someone, you will often know that there is something special about them, right? If you are really lucky in love, you may even experience that “eyes meeting across the room” feeling. It’s not sexual attraction, but you know it goes deeper than that.

Your intuition tells you that there is some link between you and this person, and it really feels like you already know them. You have felt this way with people who ended up being your great friends.

This certain feeling has been described by people who have met their soul mates. However, a soul mate does not necessarily mean that he is the right life partner for you. Soul mates can be a part of your family, your best friends, or your partner.

But how to know if is he is Mr. Right when intuition alone is not enough? Maybe, he is not available anymore, or maybe he is not interested in you at all. Be friendly and accept the situation as it may be. Getting to know him may be for some other purpose in your life.

If he is the right guy for you, then getting together should be a whole lot easier. You will find everything falling into place as if it was “meant to be”. Obstacles will be easily overcome.

However, if you meet the right person at the wrong time, there is no smoothness and the relationship is a bit difficult. When this happens, it is much better to let him go. If he is your Mr. Right, he will come back into your life again later, when it is the right time for both of you.

If you are dating Mr. Right, you will know that both of you will easily fall in love with each other. But you should also look beyond the overwhelming emotions of love and consider if you are willing to live with this person for the rest of your life. If you find it hard to imagine living with him for all your life, then think about it, is he really your Mr. Right?

Having common interests is also a good thing. If he is Mr. Right, you will know it. You will find that both of you have the same hopes, dreams and expectations of life. You get along really good, and also with each other’s family as well. As I have said, the relationship is smooth, and everything seems to just fall into place.

That is how you will know that he is Mr. Right!

A Small Cute Love Story

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed.

The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.

That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.

Moral of the story: I f you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent.. This is applicable for any relationship Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully

Valentine Day: Special Quotes you can use for someone special

Now this is next part of the valentines day love quotes series. In this post I am writing few love idioms that you can use this valentine day and later of course to express you love, feelings, care etc to someone you love.

All's fair in love and war.

Something that you say which means behaviour that is unpleasant or not fair is acceptable during an argument or competition. We weren't cheating, we were just playing to win. Anyway, all's fair in love and war.

Be head over heels (in love)
to be in love with someone very much, especially at the beginning of a relationship. It's obvious that they're head over heels in love with each other.

Fall head over heels (in love)

To be in love with someone very much, especially at the beginning of a relationship. As soon as we met we fell head over heels in love. I fell head over heels in love with Simon on our first date.

Love handles (humorous)
A layer of extra fat around the middle of a person's body. You wouldn't want me to lose my love handles, would you?

The love of your life (humorous)
The person that you love most in all your life. And there I was, watching the love of my life board a plane to go to the other side of the world.

Love at first sight
An immediate, strong attraction for someone you just met. She took an immediate liking to him – it was love at first sight.

Fall in love (with someone)

To begin to love someone. The movie tells the story of a country doctor who falls in love with a beautiful waitress.

Nice Love quotes: Best Quotes on friendship

HI all,

Below are the some of the most unforgettable love and friendship quotes. just enjoy these nice love quotes and share them with your friends with friendship wallpapers

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.

The brightest future will always be based upon a forgotten past, you can’t go well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Let these words not only touch your eyes, let them travel through your soul and let them rest in your heart as your rest in mine.

Always remember that in some way or other you are somebody’s angel, even if you don’t know it.

Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

As long as we have memories, yesterday remains, as long as we have hope tomorrow awaits, as long as we have friendship, each day is never a waste

Don’t say we aren’t right for each other, the way I see it we are not right for anybody else.

Cute story with a beautiful thought : Care for those you love

Just a thought ....
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.

SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.

SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour."

SON: "Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?"

The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

"Are you asleep, son?" He asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier" said the man.

"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the Rs.50 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!" He yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.

"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.

" Daddy, I have Rs. 100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?

Please come home early tomorrow I would like to have dinner with you"

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

Do remember to share that Rs.100 worth of your time with someone you love or somebody who loves you.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days.

But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Always find time to spend with Ur loved ones even when u r busy... because one day u will find time but not Ur loved ones...

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.

So love the people who treat you right..Forget about the one's who don't.

Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.

If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it!

Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away.
Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we forget what's right and wrong.
Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late.
I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

valentine day love story : cute love story love has no reason

Lady: Why do you like me..? Why do you love me?

Man : I can't tell the reason. But I really like you...

Lady : You can't even tell me the reason... how can you say you like me? How can you say you love me?

Man : I really don't know the reason, but I can prove that I love you.

Lady : Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend's boyfriend can tell her why he loves her but not you!

Man : Ok..ok!!! Erm... because you are beautiful,

because your voice is sweet,

because you are caring,

because you are loving,

because you are thoughtful,

because of your smile,

because of your every movements.

The lady felt very satisfied with the man's answer.

********

Unfortunately, a few days later, the Lady met with an accident and went into the coma stage.

The Guy then placed a letter by her side, and here is the content:

Darling,

Because of your sweet voice that I love you...Now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love you.

Because of your care and concern that I like you...Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you.

Because of your smile, because of your every movement that I love you...Now can you smile? Now can you move?

No, therefore, I cannot love you.

If love needs a reason, like now, there is no reason for me to love you anymore.

Does love need a reason? NO!

Therefore, I still love you...And love doesn't need a reason

With love always,

Forever yours.

*******

Relationships are hard to handle......might even seem impossible at times.
There will be many fights and many quarrels,

many disagreements and many tears.....

The easiest thing would be to give up.

But if we spent half the energy we use in fighting with each other,

and spend that energy in fighting to keep the relationship strong, then that is love……

Remember, in a relationship, giving up is not the solution Disagreements, fights and quarrels will always be there.

But you must always fight harder to stay together.

Some fights are truly worth fighting!

Love life vs Married life : Love and marriage

Love is holding hands in the street.
Marriage is holding arguments in the street.

Love is cuddling on a sofa.
Marriage is one of them sleeping on a sofa.

Love is talking about having children.
Marriage is talking about getting away from children.

Love is going to bed early.
Marriage is going to sleep early.

Love is losing your appetite.
Marriage is losing your figure.

Love is sweet nothing in the ear.
Marriage is sweet nothing in the bank.

TV has no place in love.
Marriage is a fight for remote control.

Love is 1 drink and 2 straws.
Marriage is "Don't you think you've had enough!".

Conclusion: "Love is blind , Marriage is an eye opener!"

And final one Ultimate love ;)

Love : What is Love ?

Love is like wet cement
the longer you stand in it
the harder it is to get out!

*The worst way to miss/Love someone is to have them standing right next to you and know you can't have them. *

*The hardest thing in life is to watch the one you love, love someone else.*

"Love me now, love me never,
but if you love me, love me forever."

Love is like heaven, but it can hurt like hell.

Tragic love story or tragedy of social network sites

A tragic love story: Flourished on Orkut, died in a bullet

Orkut is in news again and this time due to the tragic death of Koushambi Layek who was murdered by her lover Manish Thakur, with whom she had developed relations on orkut.com. This incident again points towards the hazards of social networking.

WHEN EVERY BIG business house is running a business of social networking website, orkut.com owned by Google continues to be in the centre of controversy for one wrong reason or another. This time Orkut finds itself in the midst of a murder mystery. The reason for murder is believed to be failed love which developed on Orkut.

This love story started in the AC three tier compartment. The accused Manish Thakur, a resident of Bashdroni in West Bengal, was on his way to Thiruvantapuram where he met Koushambi Layek who was on her way to the training centre of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The relation gradually evolved through scrapping on Orkut. After some time Koushambi discovered that Manish was married. Heartbroken she ended her relation with him, but was threatened by Manish again and again. Koushambi confided to her parents about the incidence and they tried to sort out the problem by talking with Manish.

Unfortunately the talks did not help and the police discovered her dead body in Mumbai's Sun-a-Sheel hotel's room number 202. After a thorough investigation it was found that Manish had killed her by his service revolver.

Manish, who works with the coast guard, has been arrested. Police sources confirm about taking him to Mumbai today.

Meanwhile Manish's and Koushambi's profiles have drawn thousands of visitors in the past two days on orkut. There has been a formation of two communities in the name 'Tribute to Koushambi Layek' and 'Koushambi cry for Justice'. The number of registered members in these two communities is increasing rapidly. Many visitors are also visiting Manish's profile to express strong reactions.

It perhaps will not be a very good idea to blame this social networking website. But this incident definitely shows the flipside of social networking on the Internet and the best thing one can do is be careful while using it in order to avoid unpleasant incidents and such mishaps.
